Help! I think its misfiring still, better than it was but not corrected..

put a different working coil from a '87 on a new '84 module with absolutely NO melting (hence, new) cleaned contacts with adhesive remover and wire brush, used dielectric grease on all contacts, made sure spark plug wires were snug (msd 8.5's)

and here's how it currentl yruns:

turn bass down and turn sound UP to hear it clearly, various loads etc, there is lcearly audible popping etc.. but i cant seem to track it down!

mine did that, but not that often just under partial boost and steady cruising(low speeds, 20-40mph) I finially tracked it down to few burnt spots on the feul injector harness. My 84 is all stock and had never been replaced, they have a probelm with the harness being so close to the turbo. I don't know if you have ever switched yours (probibly) but the sounds are the same. Nice exhaust by the way.. what set up do you have?

ATR 2.5" , stock dp.. im throwin an ATR 2.5" downpipe on it sometime,

hollowed out cat

Welp, since my car is down, i'mg oing to start making a list of things to R&R, I gues it cant hurt to tak the turbo off and check that harness.. might as well buy new pigtails and make a new one huh?

Welp thanks for the input

still runs weird, but last night while it was 40 degrees out, i took it out and flew from 30 to 65 in around 4 seconds, it was nice actually, but it just feels liek its misfiring randomly and ive changed modules/coils this that the other thing **** i dont know.. maybe its usupposed to run like that ! ;p
