I am going to the track tomorrow and hooked up a TCC lockup switch tonight. Well I thought I did, when I switched it on there was no change at all. 2nd gear felt like same old second gear. I grounded the switch under the dash and ran the other wire to the top left ALDL port.
This leads me to believe my TCC may never have worked since I bought the car. I have had this suspicion for a couple weeks. When I am on the hwy at 75mph, I run about 2500rpms, which I figured was about right with 3.42's and 275/50 tires. Is that what you guys are running?
Think the solenoid is bad?
