Driveshaft for 9 inch ford rear

I am putting a 9 inch in the car the transmission is a 200r4 does anyone know if I need to shorten the driveshaft or if it needs to be longer. Thanks

Depends on the yoke you get on the rearend. There are a variety of yoke lengths on the 9".
 
Thanks I have gotten the rear from moser its fab a 9 with a back brace, aluminum center section ,spool ,1350 yoke and 40 spline axels, moser disc brakes. Should be bullet proof.

I used a stock driveshaft with a conversion u-joint, when I raced stock eliminator with a 200-4R & Moser 9" (not fab 9). It fit fine, raced it 3 years with no problems... But that was in Monte Carlo SS (which originally had 7.5 rear)
