Maybe it would be more with the SMC, but the good thing about a true dual setup is you set one small nozzle for like 12psi, and another small one for say 18psi, and so on. This way the engine is not flooded with one big nozzle at 14psi. So when you only boost to 17psi the second nozzle never comes on and you actually use less alky. There clear as mud
Let me know how it does work. I might try to do what you're doing next year by purchasing the SMC dual kit and another switch and a solenoid and a....I see a patter developing
I'm snooping this website because of the wealth of info on alky injection. I have a non IC'd supercharged tacoma and was thinking of going with the SMC kit. One thing I would use is the MSD boost-referenced boost-a-pump on the alky pump. That way more alky would be pumped in for every lb of increase. Has anyone tried that?
