Do they work?
Are they worth it?
Do they work for the GNX style rims?
Who has them in stock ?
Any part # would help.
:)

I bought them from my car from pep boys. They are probably available at any major autostore.

They do a great job of keeping brake dust off my GN wheels. The only draw back is the brake components will stay hotter under braking because of less ventilation.

I just bought Quiet Stop brake pads (ouch!!! 69.99$). They are supposed to produce little or no brake dust. I plan on taking my shields off.

I think with the shield the brakes get extremely hot under repeated braking conditions. There nice for the winter though. THey should make the shield to fit 16" also, they are a universal fit for your particular rim size.

I had some on my Monte I had, just bought them at a performance part store, I think Super Shops at the time. They helped, but did not prevent the dust building up on the rims.
Best bet is to use "dust" free pads, they work great, get at any PeP Boys store.

On a side note. The brake shield seals the dust of so well off the rim, there is probably an accumalation of dust crud behind the shields which may also affect braking performance.

I to got my $14 set from Pep Bpys and they work great on my Telstars!! Unless you brake like a madman, I don't see a problem with heating up..

If they make your size the Clean Wheels are the best on the market. They fit like a glove and I barely get a dusting on the Convos. No trimming!

I thought the same thing about Kleen Wheels. Had a set on a DSM years ago and fit great. My father in law bought a set for his 2001 Sebring and they did not fit well.
I then popped for the set of Pep Boys (Rally brand?) cheepie wheel covers and they fit PERFECT on my Telstars. Go figure..

The only downside I see to the ones listed is no venting. The Clean Wheels have venting that directs air to the rotor/brakes.
