Early lock up??

Till my trans guy gets back from Bowling Green next week, I need some opinions here. When cold my trans acts perfect, however once it gets up to operating temp, it will catch lock up as soon as it shifts into second, and will not unlock till I am darn near stopped, whats happening?? Even when I go around a corner it will go into second ,but the darn converter is acting like it is still locked up. TIA

And thats located in the trans itself or??... Why does it unlock just before reaching idle, safegaurd of some sort?
