what would make the ECM fuse blow under load, drives fine at normal cruising but once i go part throttle or more it blows.

ECM fuse powers the ECM, MAF, CCCI module, and ESC module. You can disconnect the ESC module, the MAF connector (runs in limp mode when you do) and by elimination, determine if either one of those is the culprit. My money would be on the CCCI module; if the fuse still blows, the module is defective.

i had one of the coil + wires that attaches from the ign module to the coil pushed through the insulation on the inside of the module and hitting metal therefor shorting that circuit out blowing the fuse....only way to find was to separate coil pack and module...in your case, i would start looking at all of your sensor wiring....possibly something getting pulled or crushed under harder load....i also had some wiring near the a/c support brackets shorting out causing misfiring under hard acceleration...don't remember what they were for, found it in the dark and just taped them up....

If it's the ecm/sol 10 amp fuse that you are blowing it is most likely the tcc solenoid in the tranny. As soon as you get over 10psi boost and the stock wastegate solenoid starts to cycle it can cause the fuse to blow as they both run on the same 12 volt circuit through the pink wires at the brake switch.
If it is this fuse, unplug the 4 wire connector on the driver side of the tranny and go for a run. If the fuse stays good, you have a bad tcc solenoid.

Aah, the ECM/SOL fuse, not the ECM fuse. You need to be more specific when posting a problem.
