Do you have a 87 maf translator or maf pro

Troy, in your SIG, you need to list the items that you have done to your car so we dont ask questions like this:

As a member pointed out up above...did you replace the MAF, and do a MAF translator?
what are your other modifications to the fuels, electrical, etc.....

No it's the 84 maf I was reading some posts that said it would work except in cold weather.if I get an 87 maf do I need a translator ? The car is stock except type II gm ignition module and Casper adapter with hot wire (what a difference that made in starting) the chip I have for the 87 ECM is for 60# injectors wich mine are not!

You need to know your injector size and match the chip also I would change the maf and add the mat sensor. With the ECM upgrade don't stop there keep reading the posts on this there are many trust me you'll get it. Good luck
