EGR delete?

My EGR is blocked as the chip likely did'nt let it function anyway. Can I remove the EGR vacumn control valve? It's just in the way. Any drawbacks removing it?

I think it will throw a code if you disconnect it.

If it's disabled on the chip, it will not throw a code. Take it off and get a block-off plate.

If you're running a Turbo tweak chip it should be disabled. Mine is. I took mine off and put on a block off plate. No issues.

Are the chips marked? I would like to know what chip I have. It was in the car prior to me. It does have alky. Do I pull the chip to see?

I've only owned 2 TT chips since Jan 2008...both of them were marked as what version they are, timing they're burned at, injectors they're burned for, octane they're set up for...
