EGR Vacuum Hoses

I am running a 6.1 alky chip and want to remove / clean up the vac hoses connected to the EGR. Since the chip doesn't use the EGR valve, can I leave the valve installed and just remove the vac hoses attached to it? Any pics or instructions of how to connect the vac hoses?
