I'm trying to drill the hole on th driver side header. Looks like i cant stick a drill under there because all the lines aare in the way and its tight down there. I can fit a dremel tool though. How did you guys do it?

man no one answered you for 3 days...use a REALLY long drill bit!

I had a friend that had a 2 foot drill bit and it was a piece of cake. I have NO idea where he got it from.

Kev :)

Piece of cake if you have an angle drill.I have a Makita 6v cordless angle drill and its a piece of cake.Tons of room.

You can buy angle drill adapters at most tool stores..That would be my second suggestion.

Last suggestion is to place the clamp first, put in a smaller bit like a 1/16 in the hole centered..start to drill to mark the pipe..remove the clamp..drill your hole...place clamp and then slide probe in.This way you dont run the chance of damaging the brass in the clamp with the drill bit.

k i finally finished it. I just had to squeeze the drill down there. the oil cooler lines were in the way so i just pushed them down with te dirll. I put in the clamp first, then stuck the drill where the probe goes into the clamp and it went thru.:) yup it was a piece of cake to do. just had to figure out how to angle the drill.

Did you have to take the turbo off?

Just wondering because, I am little concerned about the metal flakes from the drill...
Thanks

Depends on the bit.

If you want to be 100% safe, take turbo off. Stuff a rag, and vacuum.

On mine, a nice Dewalt drill bit and vacuum cleaner.
