hey guys my electric fan isn't kicking on...so its pretty annoying when you stop and your car starts to overheat...so is there a way i can hook to a toggle switch, but i'd also like to look it over and see if its jus hooked up wrong so does anyone ahve any diagrams or anything to help me out? or any tips? thanks guys :)

ALSO what are the normal readings for all of the scanmaster settings??

and is there a way to hook up a kill switch to where if it was turned off it'd be like the car didn't have a battery in it?

Ok, fan first. I'm not sure which wire is used to cut the power (neg or pos) but on my lt1 car the negative was the one hooked up to the relay. So if yours is like that just take out the stock ground wire and put on one and ground it out somewhere on the car. If it doesn't go on make sure you have a DIRECT wire to the positive on the batt. Basically this is just to test if the fan is still good. All you really need is one to positive and one to negative and it will go on. If not I'm not too familiar with the schematics of these cars so I would have to check tomorrow or maybe someone else can chime in. If you want to hook up a simple manual switch just put the + fan wire directly to a 12 source, and the negative to a ground. Install the switch in the negative side and you're done :).

Scanmaster readings. What are you looking for? All of them? Off my head I can tell you that low 770 to low 800's is ok for o2 volts @ WOT. They will fluxuate at part throttle and idle. BLM is around 128@WOT, TPS is around .42-.44 at idle and around 4.5-4.8 at WOT. That should get you started.

Battery disconnect. Just install a switch (a high amp one made for this...you can get them through summit, jegs, and I'm sure you can find them at the local shops too if you ask). Install it somewhere hidden (if for anti theft) and put it inline for the negative battery cable. Pretty simple. When you flip the switch the batt. won't be grounded and the car won't start :D

Hope some of this info helps!

On the two fwd most relays on the driver side fender. ground the green/yellow wire, low fan should come on. The other relay, ground the green/wht wire, and the high speed fan should come on. If low is inop and high works, check the resistor on the fan assy itself. It probably broke. If neither speed works, check for 12v on the large red wire on each relay. If theres no power, check the fuse link at the starter. If there is 12v, and you hear the relay click when you ground either of the green/xxx wires, then check the wire between the relay to the fan for an open. If you dont hear the relay ciick and you have 12v at the big red wires, check the fuse that powers the relay coil. I forget which it is, so you will have to check out the schematic for yourself there.
