Electric Ic Fan?

My stock Ic fan came apart the other day.. I was wondering if it would be benificial to go to an electric fan there and do away with the Ic fan. I was looking at getting some kind of high flow trans-cooler fan.

i found a reasonable electric one on ebay a few months back-around $25.

Worked out pretty well but I needed to go with a RJC crank pulley (race version) to gain enough clearance to the fan motor. Now running a front mount IC so no fan necessary any more.
