Ok what can you tell about this. I did a search with no luck and could not really find anything on gnttype except under malfunction code.

In a nutshell what does it do???

It's the Knock sensor and related components.

Have you tried having your chip recalibrated? Have you spoken with Jay C. to see what he suggested?

Off idle stumble is sometimes corrected in the chip.
