engine start

hello people; When I first start my car in the morning (especially when my car is sitting for a while) I stick the key in and I wait for the buzzer to go off to make sure the fuel line is full and start. It would start to a little than higher idle but it was right there. Now with the latest mods (injectors,hot wire,fuel pump.TT5.6) after it sits for a few days it kinda builds to that idle. I don't like it and its not correct. How does your cars behaive in a cold start or a start after it's been sitting?

Mine has minor mods like yours. It starts higher & then comes down.

Your cold engine fueling could be a little too lean. Wouldn't know unless you had a wideband. Ever notice what your narrow band O2 says just after startup??

hello people; Cars are funny as with mine. This morning the car fired up really nice and I think it might be a combo of all this heat and humidity we've been having and me not driving the car. I was out in it yesterday.
Turbo Dave I might just have to get me one of them scanmasters as I don't carry my OTC around much. But does the scanmaster work along with the wideband?
Please explain the wideband.
