extender chip wierdness??

just installed the extender chip and a few things confuze me.
i have the translator plus set at 17* timing and 15* up high. my boost is at 15 PSI, my fuel is at 45 static with a 10% idle enrichment. other than that my 02s at WOT are 816 and i have no knock.

OK! now on to the wierd thing. i get these surges at part throttle and some at full throttle while im climbing the RPM range. it feels like either fuel is being moved around or timing is being moved around.

is this normal of the extender chip and translator +? or is there some way i can tune this out.

by the way the timing setting i have is minus 6* base, which as it stats will last throughout the RPM range.

BASE Timing set to - 6º

Why so low, your chip is already only 17º/15º, now you've made it an 11º/9º setting?????

Set your base and wot timing to zero, and see what happens.

no you misread. i have the base timing set to SUBTRACT 6*, which stays as a constant throughout. so the 23 becomes a 17 and the 21 becomes a 15.

Guess I did. The way your post read you had a 17º Extender not a 23º. Sorry.
