Extender help

I just got done installing my 3 1/2 maf ,trans + and newest programable extender chip. My car has NEVER idled as good as it does now! I have tried many chips but none equal this one. I have not driven the car yet. Too much salt on the roads here.

Here are my questions.

1. I have the high speed data. Mike told me I would lose my mal. codes. Now the last two functions on my scanmaster are PL and SP. What are these? Makes no mention in the instructions.

2. When trying to program the shift light the instructions say
( Param8* 100)+4800 = setpoint. The settings are start in single digit numbers and go into the teens. 0 disables the shift light. If I enter a #1 in there is the shift light 4900 rpm? If I enter a #2 is the shift light now 5000 rpm and so on?

Any help would be great. I will most likely have more questions as I go on.

1. PL is injector pulse width, and SP is (if memory serves) is ignition timing.
