I swapped in some stock injectors. Car ran fine and then not so good. Noticed #4 was leaking out the top, so I swapped the O-rings and all was well. Now the damn fuel injector fuse takes about 10-12 minutes to burn thru. I've looked at the wiring quite carefully and see nothing out of the norm. Anybody had an experience like this, or have some ideas as to where to begin the trouble shoot?
Thanks,
Jim

Cars equipped with double-pumpers should use 25A fuses in place of the original 15A fuse, otherwise the fuse will pop as soon as the second pump comes on. It's also common for the fuel injector harness wiring to short against the EGR valve - inspect the harness for worn insulation or exposed wire and ensure that it's routed carefully around the EGR.

Most likely in injector harness. Here's the easy way to find out if it is in the inj harness:
1. Put a good fuse in the fuse block
2. Disconnect the harness under the hood under the coilpack
3. Turn key to on(do not crank car, just turn key to on position)
4. If it's in the inj harness your fuse should still be good.
5. Go plug harness back in
6. Turn key to on again if you hear the fuse pop it's the inj harness.
HTH:)

Just an update if you ever have this kind of experience; I inserted an amp meter on the fuse tines and let the car run. 2.1 amps until the car got warm, then 18.0a+ in a hurry. Started unplugging things until I discovered the problem circuit; it was the oil pressure sender wiring that had succumbed to the heat of the p/s header and melted together. Unplugged it runs perfect forever. Just need to replace/rebuild this harness and all is back to normal in GN Land.
Thanks for your replies.
Jim
