Do you sill have the short metal line that goes from the evaporator to the dryer?

It runs next to the battery.

Is that the piece in front of the radiator or the piece up by the firewall?

The evaporator is the part that is/was in front of the radiator.

The part in the dash is called the condenser.

EDIT: I got them backwards. The condenser is in the dash and the evaporator is by the radiator

No the part that is contained inside the plastic AC heater box. Looks like a heater core but for the AC
