I am rep;acing all the sensors on my 87 GN. I cannot figure out how to remove the fan coolant sensor connector. I do not want to break it so can anyone tell me how to release it from the sensor? Thare appears to be a metal tab on the side which I tried pulling and pushing but no luck. The plastic connector rotates but will not release.
Here is a photo of the densor and it's location in the top of the l;ower manifold. Thanks for any assistance.

its a circular plug push in on both sides of the thicker black tabs( pinch it , ) and it comes off, its a lot like the the ac plug on the drier (low pressure switch)

Looking at the plug for the sensor you can see 2 raised areas where you want to put your fingers and squeeze. While you have them compressed with your fingers pull straight up.
