Ok guys, here it goes:
When I bought my car, the fan would function as it should. Fan would come on when the engine became hot and stay on even after I shut the ignition off. About 3 months ago, the fan would shut right off as I removed the key from the ignition but it would run when the engine was running or when I had the ignition/guages in the "on" position so it didn't bother me too much. Recently, the fan won't come on at all and it even caused my car to overheat once. I just bought a new delay relay and 2 new high/low relays but I haven't installed them yet. Could these be the culprits? One of my friends told me it might be the fan switch (?) on the drivers side firewall. Whats the function of this switch and where exactly is it located? The only mods I have done to the cooling system is a 160 thermostat and fresh hoses and coolant mix. I'm going to be replacing the radiator soon but I doubt thats an issue. Thanks for all input, I really appreciate it... Gary
