Fat-fender Paint Color?

Hi all,

I just got a new project car! A '47 Ford coupe that's presently a long way from the paint stage, but I'm looking for color ideas now. I think bright red would look best, but I really don't care for red. The wife and I both (for once!) are thinking a deep metallic purple (same as my "amethyst" Dakota), I also like orange. I've been looking at lots of the old fat-fenders lately, but still haven't seen one look as good as a red one...

i dunno, i would think primer would look kick butt on that car too!



maybe rolls royce silver flake?



oooooh, you would be my hero if you painted your car this color.
Granada gold. its a pontiac color, my GTO was that color. its a really deep harvest gold.
