Firing order???

hey fellas, I'm a lil unsure about the firing order, since I'm chasing a misfire I figured I'd check everything. I found a pic but is this for the ha or ic coil set up? I found the pic in our section if this is the correct diagram for 84/85 mine is wrong, but I looked at many GNs and the only ha cars that are wired this way I believe they have the newer coil. Any help clearing this up is appreciated, thanks

Listed firing order is correct 1-6-5-4-3-2. The system is a waste spark so the same coil i.e. 1-4, 5-2, 3-6 fire at the same time. So if you swap the wires on any of the towers of the same coil to the indicated cylindet, it shouldn't have any negative effects.

Plugs, wires, injectors and wire are what i would inspect. If one plug is fouling and the ignition wire is swapped, the fouling should change.

Just got back from the part store but I was using the AC CR43ts but I can't find those anymore so I picked up a set of AC R45stx gap is .035 on either plug sorry for the late response

I would start the gap at 0.026 - 0.028 and go from there.
Sounds like I need to get some plug before it's too late. Lol

I'm gonna post some of the results when my wife gets here, don't wanna risk it after my recent DUI, the COPS would love to take my car for their own pleasure, but so far it feels much smoother the engine still shakes a lil but I guess I'll figure that out soon I had a tread for knock under boost and I will know how it really runs in a few hours. Yeah DUI go figure 3 blocks from my house it's funny how cops have the privilege of arresting civilians for the same things they and their family members get away with. I'm in a bass fishing club here in NorCal one of our members is SFPD we drink at every tournament hook our boats up and drive home. Not all cops but most are flat out hypocrites to the American canyon PD
