what do you guys think the bears should do to revive the team? donovan mcnabb, imo we don't need another chris chandler, eric kramer, guys that were good but are on the down side of their career. db is going to want a big contract for a guy that if he's lucky has 2 productive years if in an offense that can block for him. he has shown he can't run like he used to! he also wouln't be anything different from what we have with that moron turner calling plays. lovie smith sucks as a coach and has screwed what could have been a multiple sb winning team with his stubbern ignorance.

A new high profile QB would be nice, but I don't think it would change much.
My vote would be to get Orton a quality receiver and work on other areas. If grossman could ride on the success of the rest of the team and go to the superbowl, I think Orton would be able to do the same, but better.

They need to get Matt Cassel from the Patriots! Brady is coming back next season and the Pats tagged Cassel with the "franchise player" tag meaning they want to see if Brady is 100% and then they will look to trade Cassel. IMO he is the best young QB that is available or will be available.
Yea pretty sad when your RB has 12 more catches than your leading receiver. Even Greg Olsen had 2 more catches than Hester.
High profile QB would be nice, but won't help much when the receivers can't hang onto the ball.

I grew up in Chicago but moved to Michigan. I'm still a Bears fan and there record is sweet compared to my states team:biggrin:
They passed on Warner because brain-dead Lovie Smith said over and over: "Rex is our quarterback". Why do we always get stuck with losers like Lovie
supposedly warner got bit by a spider and ended up getting some kind of infection and could't be there on the day that asswipe lovie wanted so they passed on him. those jerkoffs angelo and smith had no intention of signing anyone because "rex is our qb" was the motto for our loser ass team at that time lovie smith and jerry angelo took what could have been a better defense then the 85 team and rode it into the ground. norv turner is the worst off cord in the nfl and they still refuse to can him. ron riveria just signed the scapegoats that the morons fired. can't wait to see how good chargers d will be
