Found Methanol Source in SFV

I just installed a new progressive SMC kit. After I bought a gallon of Denatured Alchohol at the "Do it Center" for $11 I decided to find some local Methanol. This is what i came up with ... $3 / gallon! not as cheep as others but close for me.

I wouldnt take my TR there. I was uneasy enough with my work truck.
maybe Ill get a drum if someone wants to split it with me.

theres a another place called Orme Brothers, VP Methanol, $45 for a 5 gallon drum. Its on Roscoe and Grisham.

did you mean 45$ for a 55 gal drum or a 5 gal pail?

You can get Methanol @ Manning Fuel in Sun Valley, Right next door to U-Pick-Parts. They also have 93oct on the pumps if im not mistaken

Cosby Oil in Santa Fe Springs, CA has or had 93 0ctane UL the last time that I talked to them, but the price was so cost prohibitive that it made it more productive to run 100 octane UL. That was several (3 maybe) years back. Currently I am playing with 100 octane VP UL at, unfortunately, $8.00 a gal at Huntington Beach Car Wash at the corner of Beach & Garfield in HB. (as an experiment) I am that crazy but not that bucks up. Very few places have 93 out here for some reason. HTH

Ace Auto Parts in Huntington Beach carry's Methanol and various race fuels.

They start pulling a drum as soon as they see me drive up.
