The downpipe has finally taken its toll on the upper control arm bushing on my Turbo Regal. Who has an opinion on replacement - should I replace with the original type rubber bushing or switch over to polyurethane? Thanks for sharing your experiences particularly those who tried the polyurethane bushings.

Moog Gold Series kit for the bushings.

Heat shields for the downpipe and header.

For a driver.

I just purchased a front end kit and rear end bushing kit from Performance Suspension Technology. They sell the polygraphite material. I was impressed with there body bushing kit, for it accounted for all the bushings. The motor is out of the car right now, so I do not know how it all performs, but I have heard good things about the durability and lack of sqeaking from their product. Just thought I would let you know I'm on the same path.

The downpipe is going to eventually cook the passenger side rear UCA bushing. It'll last longer than a stock rubber one, but it's going to go eventually.

Get the Poly kit for the rest of the bushings, but call Globalwest and get their brass bushing for the passenger UCA.
