It you look at my picture there is a fiberglass piece that attaches to the radiator support that I guess is supposed to help direct air in to the IC, making the center scoop in to a tunnel instead of being open on top. Does it make a difference? Damned if I know.
It's suppose to keep hot air from radiator out of I/C and help force more cold air through I/C = more better.
TA has 2 ram air holes, KB has 1 on drivers side.
