I smell fuel When the car is running in park so I tried tracking down my fuel lines to look for leaks.... What I found was a hard line on the dvr side rear by the tire not connected to anything. On the other side wear the fuel lines come off the body to the pump there is another line not connected I really need pics thanks for any help

There will be three lines, one is supply, the second is return, and the third is vent. The vent line runs from the top of the gas tank to under the hood. Most likely whoever owned the car before you did away with the vent. If you look under the hood, you'll see a black canister with two ports on it. That's a charcoal canister for the tank vent, and it's a required emissions item if your state does that. I'm guessing CA, so you need that to pass smog.

You probably just have a vacuum leak, which is pretty common if you still have the stock hard plastic lines. They tend to crack after 30 years of hot/cold cycles.
