After driving 20 to 30 minutes my fuel pump starts to have a whine to it, only does it after driving for a while. I noticed that when the turn signals are on the whine of fuel pump goes goes up and down when blinking. I have checked all my grounds and 12 volt supplies and seems good, the fuel pump is maybe 8 months old and I know from past experience when they whine they're going out but I cant figure out why it only does it after driving for a period of time. Anyone else had anything like this before?

No Hotwire kit on it, alt is putting out 13.9 to 14.3 It's a walbro255 fuel pump also. Fuel pressure doesn't go down, and still rises 1:1 with boost. Almost seems like a power problem to me but I can't figure it out.

I'm venturing that a hotwire kit will solve the pump fluctuations when the signals are turned on. Lots of voltage drop on old wiring to the pump.

No hotwire is a huge fail. That alone tells me you havent even covered the basics on these cars. Homework time
