Looking to buy Auto Meter Sports Comp II Gauges.
Have a fresh engine with no sending units. What Adapters/Senders do I need?
Do not have original gauge/dash.

Looking to buy
*Voltmeter
*Water Temp
*VAC/Boost
*Oil Pressure
*Fuel Level
*Speedometer
*Tachometer

and maybe an oil temp gauge.

What do I need? Or can I just buy straight from Auto Meter and install?
Also, I have seen a gauge cluster on the dash on several GNs like the picture below.

Does anyone make a template I can buy so I can put some of these gauges on my dash??

Have the Sport Comp gauges, not the "2" series. They came with what you need sender wise. Not sure about the speedo or fuel level. The "2" series seem a bit more money and don't see a big difference. Found great deals on mine on Ebay.

Got another question this is for the coolant temp and the oil pressure.

Do I need to buy the Oil Pressure Switch? Or when I buy the Oil Pressure Gauge from Autometer it would by pass it?

For the coolant temp, do I need to buy the Coolant temperature Sensor or would the Coolant temp gauge from autometer by pass it aswell? I was told the coolant temperature sensor sent information to ECM for closed loop....

Sorry, theres just not a lot of information regarding sensors/gauges and what sizes are the fittings. Last thing I want is to buy a gauge and send it back cause the size fitting wasn't right. I dont have engine anywhere near me.....
thanks.

You will get the sender with electrical, tube with mechanical for oil. You will need to put a tee in if you wish to continue using the factory oil pressure switch, which is a very good idea, for the idiot light, and I believe it may be required for the car to run. I put the coolant sender into the port on the left side of the manifold, above where the oil sensor goes. The sensor for the ECM is on the other side of the intake. As I recall, gauges come with multiple size adapters, shouldn't be a problem... if by chance it doesn't fit, take the old and new sensor to the hardware store for some adapters.
