Hey Scott can you give me the best directions from greensboro to your neck of the woods.

First stop is Linville Caverns/Falls then maybe Little Switzerland followed by a night's stay in Blowing Rock.

421 or 40 what's your opinion?

I'd go I-40 and use 181 to get to the Linville area. Once you're on the hill use the parkway to get over to Blowing Rock. Stay away from 321 if you can, there's a road construction project going on.
