I dont want to travel to NJ or PA. Been there done that, not practical. Anybody know?

There sure isnt much..... I know becuase I have been looking too....apparently there are a few in the queens area... not too sure though.

There used to be a guy in Patchouge but i think hes gone now , ive seen him at the track a few times , that is when we had a track on LI .I do belive he had his own tuning issues at times as most do . There was a place in Brooklyn called Red Hook performance , dont know if their still in buisness and cant say firsthand their work . What are you looking to do ? I can show you how to screw up a freshened motor if you want . Actually ive had pretty good results from my shady mechanic skills . Youve got to be able to do something with these cars because unfortunately most mechanics dont know jack about them . Sometimes your forced to learn . Even if its the hard way .

Where on L.I. are you guys im at LIE exit 61 Rnkonkoma... Id be happy to meet up... I also carry Direct Scan if I need it to tune.... unfortunately I havent a clue what to do...

i have a turbo link ;)

what are you looking to do? there are a few shops in the area (none i would say on LI though)

what part of LI are you on?

Damn you guys are close. I'm in Holtsville, Exit 62. I have been putting in my ATR Crossflow exhaust, ATR Driverside header, crossover & 6 new speakers.

I have tuned for zero knock using Turbolink 4.0 @ 18-20 psi on 93.

Us LI guys realy need to meet up more often... I find myself half hanging out of my car waving at any TR I see on the road with little responce from the other driver..... mine is all debadged and not a stock collor... but still its not hard to tell a fellow TR from another I.E. hood bump..

i would go to a meeting place :dunno:

check out TBs they have a long island section that something could be planned

Meeting

Unless there is a indoor meeting at a local eatery. We had a together in Brooklyn last month. Hanging outside is a little cold. The other boards Long Island section is a better option. I always wave when I pass another Turbo Buick.

1fastv6, any chance of you taking a look at my car? Im in wantagh and sounds like you know what your doing. I just need to know what is on my car already. I can do bolt ons, just dont really know what injectors turbo and pump are on the car now. It has a turbo tweak chip for a t49 turbo setup but the turbo looks original to me.

Bald Hill in the summer is a cool place to hang , ive been up there a bunch of times . Most GNs ive seen there were stock and some of the owners were cool and some were not too interested in the Turbo Buick click . Maybe this year we can have a better show of force .

I was up there a few times with my 99 GT and it was a much bigger mustang group. I earned the respect of few of those guys after running 10s and taking down a few 11 sec LS1s. I will be up there with my GN this year. I'm surprised that people wouldn't be interested in the GN because it is a legend in my mind. That's why I had to have one.
