GNX/TTA Models

I finally completed my GNX 1/24 scale and appended pics to the TTA 1/25 kit I did 2 months ago. Of the 2 kits...the GNX kit was the pain in butt fitting the frame on the subframe. Someday I will eventually get an airbrush kit so that the paint can be applied correctly.

looks sweet!!! i don models as well (my room is dedicated to GM's and some leopards<thats a different story) a while ago i made a GN custom convertable and never really finished it. oh well. just curious, what do you use for the paint and glue and so on??? i need better stuff cuz the regular model stuff aint cuttin it no more. thanks for the info, and the inspiration!!!

GN to Silver T

The local Wal-Mart still has 3-4 of the GN models. I'd buy one if I thought I could turn it into a Silver T to match my current TR. Any tips for a complete spaz on how to get a good silver paint job on a model?

Good luck with silver. The problem with silver is the metalic particles run if you go too thick. You will probably need to use a base primer coat and shoot multiple thin layers until you get the density you like. I had a hell of a time with my silver P-51 Mustang...the silver paint had dull spots and displayed drip patterns on the underbelly where I went too thick.
