If you are still using a stock filter and location for it in this application, yes, you will. The problem with the cavitation is due to the filter location and its draw from the top side. The only way to truly fix it is to have a low back set bottom feeder pick up. I just spoke yesterday with a gentleman that bought his trans elsewhere and they added a quart of fluid to solve his flare problem. When they tested it afterwards, the first thing they noticed was the trans was running 15 degrees hotter almost instantly. Adding a quart of fluid will help diagnos a cavitation problem, but it is not a fix.
