The car is running fine now that I put the new fp in and figured out that my boost gauge was lying to me. I cleaned and balanced the injectors and and had my mechanic fix what was causing the problem with the boost gauge. The question I have is when I lay on the pedal hard the boost gets to about 9 or 10 PSI then when I hit third gear i will shoot to about 13 or 14 PSI. Is this normal I thought that it should run the same amout of boost thru all of the gears?
 
I'm sorry to admit that it still is the stock turbo. I'm going to upgrade to a ta-49c but I need to save a little $money$ to do that because I'll also upgrade the injectors (55lbs), port the intake, and get a stall convertor. but until I have the money for that I'm sticking with the stock turbo.
 
I'm also going to upgrade the ecm and get a new chip I was thinking of going with caspers tumbwheel.
 
is your chip stock? It sounds like you have a problem, check out the headers and wastegate to make sure they are funtioning properly. Why are you planning on running 55 with a with a T49? 009's will work with the t49 and you don't have to have the ECM modified. if you upgrade beyond that setup you might consider even a lager size injector than the 55's if your doing the ECM. I like the multi position chips too :)
 
My chip isn't stock it's 93octane from Postons and the headers are fine I think it might be the wastegate solinod but I'm not sure how to be sure. About the injectors I was just figuring if I'm not happy or decide to eventually get an even bigger turbo that I wouldn't have to change the injectors when I do that. :)
