I guess I have a Pat's 10/11 lock-up:D Should be in the 3200 range on the foot-brake, 3500 flash and a wild guess of 3800 on the break:) Nice convertor with a nice break means:D :D with a big pucker factor built in! Anyone else using Pat's convertors? Steve is great to deal with and reminds me of John Craig how he explains things in great detail with you. When I took my old Art Carr 9" non-lock up to have it checked (broke fin) he cut it open in front of me and showed me what went. Then I got a full tour of the outfit and more info on all the convertors, clutches, etc... out there for our cars. What works and what doesn't. Guess I will find out.

BTW- I weighed it and both scales I have say 34 lbs. Off to find Red's thread about the 9/11 and Art Carr weights.

Good luck intercooler, I think I need to do the same thing. Please keep us posted on the results, you have peaked my interest.

Couldn't find the AC 9" but:

D5 = 46 pounds
9" PI single disc = 32 pounds
9/11 = 36 pounds

Nice piece

Good luck man. That should help you pick up some more mph.

Being 10lbs lighter now, it should spool up like a mother..
:cool:

I think you'd be happier with a 3200 Jesse. 3500 is a little high for a 61. I mean, it'll spool like crazy, and I guess thats good, but mine is livable with 3000 and a leaking gate. If my gate was good it'd spool very nice with my PI 3000. Unless you're planning on bumping up in turbo in the near future.

The thing I like about my PI converter, is the stall is invisible until you stab it, then it flashes to 3000 or so, just driving around it seems invisable.

BTW: PI is that light? Man, it almost seemed heavier than a D5....I have a single disk LU
