I think that one is sold by vendors. As far as I know the only cars that came with a jacket were GNX's.

I bought a trans am new back in 01, and the parts department had these cool pontiac windbreakers and needless to say if they didnt throw the 40 dollar coat in i wasnt buying the car. Now how the original owner came up with coat I guess will remain a mystery since thet have passed. If these coats can be bought now then I would like to know where so i have something to compare.

Those jackets were sold some years back by Bowling Green Customs. I bought two of them and one is still brand new.
If I remember right I paid either $89 or $99 apiece for them.

cool. i had checked around and havent been able to find any just like this one. I had found other ones on ebay but not like this. I asked around and was told worth at least 350 and if thats the case I am willing to sell it. If not then I will still have it just like the car.

this is the type of fuck head responses that piss me clear off. its your fucking opinion....I dont recall publically asking for it, so why not keep it to yourself and just roll your eyes and click to the next thread.

Is that better, I wouldn't want to offend you.

My opinion is just that, MINE.

Some people see things different than you, I'm one of them.

Just remember, like you said it's a public forum. I'm John Q public and so is everyone else and we all won't see things the same way.

Get used to it or read a book.

Like robzombie stated, it was just his opinion. I don't think the vulgar language is very appropriate nor is it needed. This is supposed to be a friendly atmosphere that is full of very knowledgeable and respectful people. Maybe since your so new around here you didn't get that memo? Just saying

Well I didn't get that memo.
And yes I'm new around here and am sure there are plenty of knowledgeable people here, but bashing an add cause you don't agree isn't necessary either. He changed his post and that's fine. I can't imagine the coat is worth that much either but that's what a knowledgeable person from this forum suggested I should start the price at.

I understand your point as well and I'm not trying to split hairs here, just trying to help keep the peace is all.

I was voicing an opinion in a way to let you know that price was offensive. LOL

I can put it back if you want??

Neither can anyone else and that was the point I was making. I'm sorry if the truth hurts.

I do wish you well with your sale all kidding aside.

Nope. Truth doesn't bother me. Do whatever makes you sleep better at night. I think you should re-read my posts that also said can't believe that it could be worth that....but if so I'll sell. If not I will just keep.
I never have understood why people feel they need to say something about someone's ads though. Besides it just tells me it's something you want but can't see paying price

Who would pay a outrageous price without any proof or documentation that it is original. Yay more opinions!

Well I can say his is different than the three I own. The first one in my pics. was bought years ago at BG from the Savino's (sp? and the tag in it is Hartwell
The second & third one were bought from BG Customs in the late 90's and as you can see they are all different?? The tag in the last two is WestArk.

Mine says Westark, was bought for me by my father in 92 at BG meet and it is absolutely identical to the one in the original post. If there is demand, I'll post the pics of it. Size medium. Doesn't fit anymore as I was 12 when I got it but fits my GF, so she wears it on occasion although the satin is a bit of dated look.
