A player on my sons soccer team did that 3 monthes ago. When he went down my son was right beside him. He bent over to help him up and the player said "NO". My son looked at his foot which was just about competely backwards and waved us over. Dislocated ankle and broken fibula. Tough kid, not even a tear. I think it was just numb and he was in shock.
