hard break pedal and light comes on

my break light comes on when i push on it the pedal is hard then gradually goes down i dont lose brakes is it the ball or the unit itself

last time this happened to me...it was the accumulator bowl. The light only came on when the brake was pressed firmly...then it went off.

Mine would be very hard for a second and then would work normal an accumulator bowl fixed it
