Can you hear your fuel pump run for a few seconds with the key in the "on" position?

havent paid attn. but I have a gauge on it, shows 40 psi before I try and crank it. if it had a carb i'd say the choke isn't working

Can you put a carb on it to see if that resolves it?
Try Pumping the gas pedal ...........

(just kidding ;) )
Does the FP pressure drop significantly on the gage when you crank it when cold AND it does not start?

I have the exact same problem! New Hi-Po Fuel pump, new chip & injectors, new cam sensor, new spark plug & wires, new module, and new alternator. Still hard start when cold, warmed up starts great. WTF! My Mechanic said maybe the ignition switch?

I thought I found my problem, battery was getting drained by blower module, fixed that problem and it still want start cold without spraying it with ether.
