I already own a 98 Electra Glide, but I want something different. I have been looking at the Streetglides and Victory Hardball baggers. Really like the look of the Victory but just cannot seem to get settled on a brand. I am not a HD faithful follower even though I do like my current ride. What are you opinions on the two?

You go with that victory you will sell the HD... They ride great and have great power... That's just my opinion.....

I had an 04 Vegas... Loved it. Smooth and powerful bike... Lots of HDs out there... GNs are different so why be like others;)

I have a Harley now and have owned several over the years and honestly they are just a designer jean. Get the victory...youll be glad

Victorys are real nice. My buddy owns conquest customs and I recommend checking out his site. Top notch products and the bikes are sick off the showroom floor. Harley is just a name....

if you really want something different since you already have a bagger and the new ones aren't really different why not pick up something old or custom

sorry click attachments to see pics

so since it seems i'm destined to never finish a project i figured i would start another o_O , but in a twist of faith its pretty much done

i picked up this 07' Big Bear Chopper Merc, not running for $7500 last Saturday, got it to my buddies house where i have my lift and some of my tools i lent him for side jobs. I knew if it wasnt up and running that day it would turn in to another long term project, so in a matter of 3 hours did a full tune-up went through the front end (shop that last had it took it apart to powder coat and copper coat assembled it wrong) fix 2 shorts and replace stater (which was included with purchase, owner was told original was bad by last shop). after three hours, i stated it up and rode home, which was a lot harder than i would have thought, but not surprised since its just shy of 12' long :)

then there is the 79 shovel that has been a two year project, its finally almost done just needs paint (being painted by Danny D, who painted a few of the bikes from the biker build off, and is known for his work in the low rider world) and that thing is completely gone through all matching numbers but with a big bore/stroker motor and every bit chromed or polished.

hello people; I know no one that owns a Victory but I know a few who own HD's. I own a 77 HD and should be road worthy soon. It seems the new HD's are bullet proof and only minor maintenance is needed. The victory tourers are still working on me as it is differant. What appeals me about them is the seat height because it's low. I'm short so it is nice to keep both feet flat to the road. I'm no real Harley hardon and a new bike that caught my eye in a tourer style is the Honda Gold Wing F6B. Ch. it out. When you think of a GW you think of a land yaught but this one is not.
have fun
