Has anyone else lost their “posts” count?

Hey all,

I just noticed that my total posts count went down. Use to be at about 525 last time I looked and now I’m back down to 350. I noticed this because I was thinking to myself a month ago, “wow 500 posts, now I can get one of fancy avatars!”

Just curious if anyone else was effected or maybe TB.Com did some archiving or something?

I think they weeded out your bs post
Plus, they didn't want your avatar of you displaying a bumper sticker "I love porn".
Are you back together yet (motor)? How much longer?
RCA got a long waiting list like the other RCA?

They purge out the older posts (for space) & with that you lose credit for them. I have the same problem. I almost had anough for an avatar @ one time, but no where close now.. Oh'well...

Just waiting on the motor now. I've been working on it a little hear and there to install cooler fans, etc. Trans is done as is the converter back from Coan, toasted the sprag into about a million pieces. I'm hoping to be testing and running sometime in April and be back at full strength sometime in May.

BTW – I don’t make BS posts, just funny ones….

I was thinking the same thing.... I think I'm going to have to "TTT" every post in the lounge until I get my count back.

Huh? Yes, they have one counter and it goes up with each count. What's the point? If you keep asking me these stupid questions I'll be back up to 500 in no time...

They have one profile for your account. This is why when you change your signature or whatever, it changes for all posts. It would be too much space to keep each counter separately per post, just like trying to keep separate signatures, avatars, etc for each post. There is one counter for you that is incremented with each post you make. They could also add them up on the fly but I’d think it would be too slow doing it that way, probably a counter. When someone views a post all the server is doing is going to get the common information and inserting it for you, hence it’s the same for all posts regardless of how old it is. It saves ton's of space doing it that way but what do I know....
