Head Light Problem??

Hey the other night when I went to turn on my headlights I noticed that one was out. Well so I went and got a new light thinking that was the problem; Pluged the new one in and the light still doesnt come on. Does anyone know what might be wrong or were to start on how to fix this light. But when I turn the bright lights on all the lights work, the only time my light doesnt work is when they are on dim. If anyone can help that would be great.

I would check your fuses and then start checking your wiring running from the headlights back but that sounds very odd seeing how they will all work on brights but one is out on dim?

Check the tan wires for power at the connectors to the black ground wires.

I'd use an 89 type trunk light bulb with two wires soldered to it.

Which one doesn't light up the one with one tan wire in the connector or two?

If it's the single tan wire look at the connector on the good side where there's two wires, make sure the connections are good over there.

Check ground wires also on the inner fender near the battery, those grounds will cause strange things.
