Heartland Inc. magazine subscriptions
My parents thought they were renewing their subscriptions to a few magazines... In Aug. there credit card was charged $119.70, Sept- $59.85, Oct- $59.85, Nov- $59.85. They cancelled the charges now with the bank and some have been reimbursed... but they are called daily sometimes several times as to this was supposedly a 5 yr. contract!!! If they wanted to cancel they were supposed to get a letter and could cancel in 10 days-- they claim they never received the letter....
Evidently they aren't alone...
