heated o2 sensor

Is there any reason I can't use a heated o2 sensor with alky? I jus threw a code and need a new one.

you should be fine. never heard anyone complain about using alky and heated O2. its heated just to got to closed loop quicker and i think it helps burn off the leaded race gas or something.

HEATED 02 SENSOR

TB is correct. A heated 02 sensor is a logical upgrade over the stock units, and is no where near as "sensitive" to fuel additives, particularly lead.

Unless someone has a hundred free non-heated sensors, and LOVES changing them, there's no reason not to upgrade to a heated unit.

The Z-06 sensor is an excellent unit. (The Z-06 uses one on each side! )
