My Heater Water Flow Valve doesnt seem to be working. Car never get any heat thru the vents into the interior. This valve is located near the trans dip stick and seem to not be connected to anything (the hose lines are connected but the lever is not). Is this normal or does something control this valve? Does it work manually - can I adjust it to make heat flow to the heater core??

Lost - Please help,
Brandon

The heater control valve is controled by vacuum. There should be a vacuum line coming from under the heater box/firewall area hooked to it. Make sure that line is in good shape. I believe it is in the open position when there is no vacuum though so the problem might be somewhere else. Could be stuck closed?I just picked up a new control valve this week from buick and it was all metal like the original, not plastic like the last one from them.:)

Cool - I was wondering why I had an extra Vacuum Line in that area. I just plugged up the darn thing. I will hook it up and see what happens. (Assuming I can find the connection to the valve)
Shouldn't be any problem.

Thanks,
Brandon
