Help!! Car problems.

Problem #1
Ok i have an 87 TR. I was driving it and all of a sudden it just started sputtering and died. Got it home...battery was drained and totally dead. I swapped batteries and it started. It will sit in my driveway and run but when i go to drive it it drains the battery and dies. The battery shows 14.3 volts and the altenator is putting out 14 volts. I ahve recently put on new battery cables to fix the problem but it hasnt.

Problem #2
The car smokes horribley. lol. It has alot of in and out and up and down shaft play on the turbo...Could this be the problem? It smoke bad sitting still too.

battery light in dash lighting up ? Bulb completes circuit. I had same problem with my limited. If turbo has a lot of play. it will smoke once bushing is worn out. plus you will send particles through intercooler and into engine
