Help Diagnose my engine tick. Video inside.

I pulled the Valve Covers and the rockers were adjusted correctly.

I'm not sure whats inside it's a 212/212 cam. Are the 853 noisy or known to fail?

no it's not fresh.
Oil is 25 idle 50 cruising.
I called Lonnie, he built it but didn't have record of the exact internals.
I also did a compression test and all 6 were 150-160 psi.

This is what it sounded like after I installed a 212/212 roller cam with Comp 853 Lifters... I'm sure if you took your video from the top with the hood open they would sound exactly the same. Sorry It was dark and this video was taken a few years ago with a old camera. The motor in this RX-7 is from TTA #844 registered on TurboTransAm.com

Not normal. Betting they are 853's. They are known to collapse.

What lifters should I get?
The pushrods said 8.30 if I remember correctly. Should I get new pushrods as well??

I just installed the 885 on a 218/218 .540 lift cam. The have a tiny bit of noise but they are quieter than the morels I took out. Very predictable sound. I wound up with a pushrod length of 8.350 so I didn't have to buy custom pushrods. Best thing to do is to measure and calculate the preload you need if you don't have adjustable rocker arms.

Comp Cam 853's are JUNK!!! I know, I know, there are a FEW guys that have had good ones, I fought those pieces of junk for 5 plus years, Bought the new Morels when they came out and engine is nice and quiet now. Threw those damn things in the garbage.
