i need help picking out the right roller cam for my setup, i wasnt going to get one but after getting advice from razor and 87nat and winning some money over the weekend im ready to pull the trigger on one but im not sure how to pick one.i want the best grind for my setup but at the same time not to big i wanna keep a good idle. my combo is on my sig and i just got some gn1 irons. also where do you guys suggest i buy a roller kit? thanks, tony

I've got a similar combo to yours and I like my 210/215 but I've read alot of guys have luck with the 212/212. As far as were to buy I got mine from Full Throttle and Mike has great tech support and was very patient with me when I asked all those questions.

Mike helped me pick my cam by my combo and what I hope my car will run at the track someday. The kit includes everything you need but a timing chain.

after gettin some help on the subject i recieved a pm from a member telling me about the billet kits that weber racing sells..he said that the billet roller would be my best option.anyone here running a billet roller from brain@ weber that would like to add on their thoughts on the kit and how its working for you

the billet rollers are nice and come with the price tag to match....I also went with the 210/215 from Full throttle...it was the best deal i could find, it does not come with a timing chain so i went with the comp...$90 from Summit.

I have had the car running since December and I am very happy with the cam, the street manners are great and it makes huge power all through the power band and spool up is crazy quick!

The 210/215 will also work very well with your setup and will hold future mods with no problems. I have not yet been to the track with this setup but I have played on the street with a surprising result... My buddy has an SRT8 Jeep with some mods....it's best time has been a 12.64 @106 a month or so back we played on the street....I have the boost real low right now around 12psi....we went from a 5-10mph roll I thought he was going to walk me a bit but we were door to door in first and I started to pull him at the top of 2nd.

Like I said fast spool and big power with this cam as long as you have a good tq converter......was it a 3200 stall I think I saw in your sig? If so you will be very happy with this grind:cool:

I've had a 210/210 Comp roller cam in my car for 6 years and love it! It idles nice, is easy to live with on the street, gets good gas mileage and runs easy 10's.

How fast you lookin to go??? 206/206 in the 10s..or the 212/212 maybe 9s :p .. I'd go with the smallest you can get away with if its strickly a street car that races every now and then

I like you sig. Grumpy....Never argue with an Idiot......so true.........

grumpy im looking to go as fast as my combo will let me on 25-26# of boost its my first gn so i know i will make some mistakes along the way but would like to get it right most of the time.so do you guys think the billet cams are worth the extra money or go with cast and put the money somewhere else.i hope i can get in the mid to low tens
