Help! PCV Grommet fell into intake

I was attempting to change out the PCV Valve and accidently pushed the grommet down into the intake. Not able to see it at all. Now the question is:
What if I leave it in there and just get a new grommet? Will it be a problem and cause damage? Or do I have to pull the intake and retrieve it?

Maybe an inexpensive endoscope, a flexible grabber & some luck.

The anal retentive side of me would be bothered to no end, but many have had this happen with no ill effects to the motor. Unless it broke up into little pieces, it would just sit on top the valley pan gasket. Try do a search, I believe some had luck fishing theirs out.
